ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about December 7, 1946, by the Grain Derivatives Corporation, from Louisville, Ky. PRODUCT: 69 715-pound drums of sorghum grain sirup at Roberts, Wis. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of insect frag- ments, rust, scale, soot, charcoal, and nondescript dirt. DISPOSITION: March 18, 1947. The Grain Derivatives Corporation, claimant, having admitted the facts in the libel, judgment of condemnation, was entered and the product was ordered released under bond, conditioned that it be con- verted for use as an adhesive, under the supervision of the Food and Drug Administration.
