Thompson, trading as Pan American Mills, at Bowling Green, Ky. ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about May 20,1946, from the State of Kentucky into the State of Tennessee. LABEL, IN PART: "Phosphated Health-Build Flour," or "Pan American Mills Jersey Cream Meal." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the articles consisted in part of filthy substances by reason of the presence of insect fragments, rodent hair fragments, insects, and rodent excreta; and, Section 402 (a) (4), they had been prepared and packed under insanitary conditions whereby they may have become contaminated with filth. DISPOSITION : May 20, 1947. Pleas of nolo contendere having been entered, the court imposed a fine of $150 and costs against each defendant. ?See also No. 11871.
