PRODUCT: 17 cases, each containing 4 1-gallon jugs, of blackberry-flavored grape wine at Cleveland, and 28 cases, each containing 4 1-gallon bottles, and 8 cases, each containing 6 %-gallon bottles, of the same product at Steubenville, Ohio. LABEL, IN PART: "Mar-Vista American Blackberry Flavored Grape Wine Bottled by Arthur M. Block, Liquor Importers, Inc., Milwaukee, Wis." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (2), the article contained monochloracetic acid. DISPOSITION : April 1 and May 2, 1947. Default decrees of condemnation and destruction.
