ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about August 30, 1946, by Lebanon Fresh Cheese Corporation, from Lebanon, N. J. PRODUCT: 29 Ricotta Salata cheeses, each weighing approximately 2y2 to 3 pounds, at Corona, Long Island, N. Y. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of rodent excreta pellets and fly, larvae, and insect parts; and, Section 402 (a) (4), it had been prepared under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become contaminated with filth. DISPOSITION : December 11, 1946. No claimant having appeared, judgment of condemnation was entered and the product was ordered destroyed. FEEDS AND GRAINS
