PRODUCT: 24 bushels of apples at St, Louis, Mo. NATUBB OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (1), the product contained an added poisonous or deleterious substance, lead, which may have rendered it injurious to health. DISPOSITION: November 27, 1945. The Cicardi Brothers Fruit & Produce Co., St. Louis, Mo., claimant, having consented to the entry of a decree, judgment of condemnation was entered and the product was ordered released under bond to be brought into compliance with the law, under the supervision of the Food and Drug Administration.
