from St. Lbuis, Mo. 
PRODUCT:   200 cases, each containing 12   1-pound, 12-ounce jars, of apple butter
at Jonesboro, Ark. 
LABEL IN PART :   "Blue Star Pure Apple Butter."
NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in 
whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of insect frag- 
ments, rodent hair fragments, and a large number of mites.
DISPOSITION : March 22, 1945. No claimant having appeared, judgment of con- 
demnation was entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
