LIBELS FILED:' August 11 and 14, 1944, District of Massachusetts. ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about August 11 and 14, 1944, by Edgar Torrey, from Ellsworth and Sedgwick, Maine. PRODUCT: 28 crates, each containing 24 quarts, of blueberries at Boston, Mass. Analysis showed that the product was infested with maggots. VIOLATION CHARGED: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance. DISPOSITION: September 5 and 19, 1944. No claimant having appeared, judg- ments of condemnation were entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
