PRODUCT: 4 50-pound cartons of pecan pieces at South Bend, Ind. VIOLATION CHARGED: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of insects, larvae, insect fragments, rodent hairs, and fragments resembling rodent hairs. DISPOSITION: April 20, 1944. No claimant having appeared, judgment of con- demnation was entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
