Samples of this product were found to be decomposed and to have a phenolic or disinfectant odor. \ On March 26, 1942, the United States attorney for the Western District of Missouri filed an information against Marvin Belzer, trading as Belzer Egg Products Co., Kansas City, Mo., alleging shipment on or about April 25, 1941, from the State of Missouri into the State of New York, of a quantity of frozen eggs which were adulterated in that they consisted in whole or in part of a putrid and decomposed substance and were otherwise unfit for food. On May 23, 1942, the defendant having entered a plea of nolo contendere, the court imposed a. fine of $100.
