Examination of this product showed the presence of moldy and decomposed nUtS. :: On December 10, 1941, the United States attorney for the Southern District Gf West Virginia filed a libel against 9 bags, each containing 100 pounds, of Brazil nuts at Charleston, W. Va., alleging that the article had been shipped in interstate commerce on or about November 15, 1941, by W. A. Camp Co., Inc., from New York, N. Y.; and charging that it was adulterated in that it con- sisted wholly or in part of a decomposed substance. The article was labeled in part: "Tropical Brand * * * Brazils." On December 19, 1941, no claimant having appeared, judgment of condemna- tion and forfeiture was entered and it was ordered that the portion that was not moldy or decomposed and was fit for human consumption be distributed to charitable institutions.
