Sample No. 56986-E.) On October 21, 1941, the United States attorney for the Southern District of New York filed a libel against 89 tubs of butter at New York, N. Y., alleging that the article had been shipped in interstate commerce on or about October 14, 1941, by the Valley Creamery, Inc., from Harrisonburg, Va.; and charging that it was adulterated in that it consisted in whole or in part of a filthy, putrid, or decomposed substance. The article was labeled in part: "Butter Dis- tributed by J. It. Kramer, Inc." On November 3, 1941, the Valley Creamery, Inc., claimant, having admitted the allegations of the libel, judgment of condemnation was entered and the product was ordered released under bond conditioned that it be denatured for use as soap stock. Nos. 2664 to 2676 report actions based on interstate shipments of butter that was found to be deficient in milk fat.
